Cole Cuts Sawmill was started in 1991 by Kurt Cole and his wife, Anne. Initially the focus was custom wood milling in Prior Lake, MN. Later, Cole Cuts included tree removal for homeowners, businesses, and tree work for the local municipalities. Anne, and all four of their children would help out when they could as the children were growing up, enjoying time spent together as a family getting work done.

Kurt Cole still has Cole Cuts Sawmill. He enjoys milling custom wood for unique projects and loves the stories that usually accompanies them. He also enjoys doing tree service work for residential, commercial and the municipalities. Kurt still gets help from his family when needed. 

Kurt's youngest son, Matt Cole, owns Trees Cut Right, a tree service company also located in Prior Lake, MN. Kurt taught Matt to climb trees and Matt frequently is brought on a job as the climber to help with trimmings and/or removals. To learn more about Trees Cut Right, visit: treescutright.com
